Event Type: Adults
Age Group(s): Adults
Date: 2/8/2017
Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Description:
Gardener Teresa Byington discusses new rose varieties and provides a tour of her cottage garden that features more than 200 roses at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

The garden waves together Byington's love of roses and their companions. Roses - from hybrid teas to old garden roses and the latest rose varieties - grow alongside annuals, herbs, shrubs, trees, perennials and vegetables.

Byington is a Master Gardener, an active member of the American Rose Society, and is ARS Consulting Rosarian. She is editor of the Roses and You Newsletter, as well as vice president of the Indianapolis Rose Society. She serves as a juror at the Biltmore International Rose Trials and as co-host of the Rose Chat podcast.
