This event is free of charge and is open to the public. Registration is not required. According to D’Addono, New Orleans is on everybody's bucket list. In 2015, visitors to New Orleans spent $7.05 billion dollars a 3.5 percent increase compared to 2014. The city hosted 9.78 million visitors a 2.7 percent increase compared to 2014. The book, curated by food and travel writer Beth D'Addono, includes experiences both surprising and iconic, activities designed to connect the reader to the city s particular brand of magical realism. With a strong emphasis on feasting and cocktails, music and deeply entrenched local culture and neighborhoods, 100 Things to Do in New Orleans Before You Die delivers an authentic New Orleans experience that is very different from the typical guide book fare.
