 This memoir from World War II veteran Thom Kolesa describes not only his role during the conflict, but that of his wife who worked for two military aircraft builders, one as a welder helping to build gliders to be used in the European Theater and the other as a “Rosie the Riveter” to help build B-24 Liberator bombers used against Japan and Germany.

Thom Kolesa is in his nineties. He was married to his wife Anita for 72 years before her recent passing. They had three children. Kolesa was active in the military in World War II as a U.S.M.C. Sergeant. His business career was as an engineer. He holds a number of U.S. and foreign patents. Kolesa has been to all 50 states and many foreign countries.
