This event is free of charge and is open to the public. There is no registration. During the presentation, Dr. Langston will discuss the following. • What is your ideal college? • What's your college fit, academically speaking? • What's your college fit, financially speaking? • What makes colleges different? • What makes a college famous? • College size: small, medium or large? • College setting and location matter • Should your college be public or private? Dr. Langston also will discuss that many colleges offer significant grants or scholarships that may make a private college more affordable than a public university. She will explain the process of how to apply. Carol Langston is the owner of Langston Educational Consulting. She has served as a College Board essay consultant, an AP Spanish reader, and has authored a chapter in a college counseling textbook that is used to certify counselors as college counselors.
