 Carol Langston, PhD, retired director of College Guidance at Metairie Park Country Day School, will discuss “How Students Can Impress College Recruiters with Digital Presence,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday,March 14, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie. Langston says it’s important to understand the importance of a positive digital footprint. With more and more colleges checking the digital footprint of their applicants, it’s becoming crucial to understand search results as a student. Parents and educators should start a dialogue with teens that highlights the importance and permanent nature of their digital footprint.
