Karen Marie Walker Jones, nutrition agent with the Jefferson Parish office of the LSU AgCenter, will lead a series of five nutrition classes in January and February at the North Kenner Library, 630 W. Esplanade Avenue, Kenner.

This event is free of charge and is open to the public. There is no registration.

Walker Jones says that it’s easy to learn that healthy eating is easy and delicious. “You are what you eat, so invest in yourself by including more vegetables, whole grains, lower fat and salty foods and include regular exercise to keep your heart strong and body feeling good,” she says.
