 “Raising Awareness on Mental and Behavior Health,” a panel discussion sponsored by ICNA Relief NOLA, will occur at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

This event is free of charge and is open to the public.

The panel will explore how communication and communication patterns among parents and children affect the symptoms of anxiety, depression and self-esteem, and help build resiliency.

Included in this event is an interactive exercise. There is a question and answer session following the panel discussion.

After the session, information on free mental and behavioral health services will be provided.
