Join Antoinette de Alteriis, Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc costume director and president of the Gulf Coast International Costumers Guild, and other guest designers and crafters for a group class on how to achieve your perfect knight. They will draw on the Versace’s Zendaya style dress and other DIY knight examples. This event is bring-your-own supplies, though the first session will focus on material recommendations and a supply list will be available. While the focus is Lords and Ladies, this seminar will cover peasant and working class garb as well. This presentation focuses two resource books: The Medieval Tailor’s Assistant and Medieval Costume and How to Recreate It.
