This event is free of charge and is open to the public. There is no registration. Some of the places Tooker will discuss are Tujague’s, Antoine’s, Arnaud’s, and Vessel, which is located in an iconic 1914 church in Mid-City. She will also discuss her new cookbook, Drag Queen Brunch, which features recipes for world-renowned brunch dishes, and it is filled with photos of glamorous divas. She is author of other cookbooks, including: Crescent City Farmer’s Market Cookbook; Madame Begue’s Creole Recipes of Old New Orleans; Tujaque’s Cookbook; Pascal Manale’s Cookbook; and the Louisiana Eats! Cookbook which won the Louisiana Literary Award in 2013, by the Louisiana Library Association.
