They also provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of more severe psychological symptoms.

Dr. Wieriman will explain to patrons the basics about choosing a counselor.
1. Who makes the best counselors?
2. How do I choose a counselor?
3. Does experience count?
4. Do counselors have different philosophies?
5. How do I know when I have had enough?
6. What alternatives exist to licensed counselors?

Dr. Wieriman received an undergraduate from the University of Minnesota and a doctoral degree from the University of Texas in psychology.
